The Midwest Weekender is a micro journalism digital media outlet about people, community, food, entertainment,  fashion and anything interesting in the Midwest. The idea genuinely come from a recent grad of Wartburg College in Waverly, IA who recently traveled to some bigger cities in the Midwest such as Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Chicago, and Cleveland.
